Organization is the bane of my existence.
I love order.
I love neatness.
But often behind-the-scenes (a.k.a. inside the closets), order & neatness are not typical.
Somehow with 2 kids, a busy husband, a cat, and an active work schedule, things pile up and all of a sudden before I know it, Im overwhelmed with stuff. I try to be conscious of only keeping whats essential, but its often easier said than done.
In the midst of my Spring cleaning frenzy out with the old, ClosetMaid reached out to me with an exciting new product coming out called Closet Solutions which hit the Target shelves just last week. (the awesome new accessible line is also available at Target.com).
These new closet organizers are the perfect solutions for adding on to your existing closet shelving system. Whether wire, wood, or anything in between, these organizers are the perfect compliment. Depending on the area, you can easily organize clothes, toys, mudroom must-haves, crafts, or any type of something that needs organizing. These organizers are flexible enough to stack, or are super useful on their own. And the quality is great!
The bins are super cute and useful too. There are three styles to choose from solid fabric, solid fabric with a clear window, and a deeper /wider fabric bin. These space saving bins are useful for storing shoes, clothes, seasonal items, accessories, toys, and more. My favorite part? the large tag to label whats inside the box.
ClosetMaid kindly sent me a few of the new Closet Solutions organizers from the exclusive Target line to try out.
of course, my kitty loves to DIY (or maybe just to get in some photo time)
Lets just say I was pleasantly surprised. I was certainly impressed with the quality, how easy they were to put together, and their large size.
Now my closets are so much more organized and put together. Check out the best before and after of my daughters bedroom closet
Embarassing !
And the after
Ahhh so much better! I can actually see her clothes.
The solid fabric bins I used for swim gear, underwear, and other misc things, while the style with the clear window, I used for hair accessories, dress up clothes, and pants. The large and wide bins were perfect for her plethora of PJs and socks. The remaining open cubbies were the perfect fit for folded shirts.
Anothe r spot in need of organizationThe front closet
Its another spot thats really nice, neat, and put together. The before was a jumble of stuff, but now with my new ClosetMaid closet organizers, I have space and storage for shoes and winter wears.
Not only are these organizers great for closets, but also for toys. I added one of the organizer systems in my sons rooms and its been great to keep his legos, figures, and collectibles all in one pla ce.
What a breathe of fresh air to get our house in order. I still have more to go and honestly, I dont think I can ever feel completely organized, b ut at least its a step in the right direction.
This isnt my first experience with ClosetMaid. If youve been a follower for a while, you may have seen my Master Closet makeover which was a huge endeavour with BIG results. I gushed my love so much for ClosetMaid that they recently asked me to participate in a chat with licensed contractor and DIY Network star, John DeSilvia.
Check out the Q & A. It was total fun -
Dont mind my crazy, wonky look in this still shot!
