Its All About the Bed

In most rooms of the home, the featured piece of furniture can vary, but in the bedroom the most important element is the bed!

If you spend (on average) 6-8 hours of your 24 day sleeping, thats 50 hours a week, 2600 hours a year, and 180000 hours in a lifetime. OK OK, who cares about the math, but all-in-all, we spend ALOT OF TIME SLEEPING, and that equals the need for a comfortable bed, right?!

I recently learned aboutLeggett & Platt who creates beds that truly transform your bedroom space into an oasis. They not only offer gorgeous, stylish beds (thats key in my world), but with a simple touch of a butto n, they are adjustable. How neat! With todays busy lifestyle, the bedroom is not only a place for sleep, but also to watch TV, read, and work (sorry to say, but its true). Honestly, I wake up many mornings with a stiff lower back and I think if I had a bed that had adjustable positions, my life would be alot different. And how about when watching TV when laying in bed (yes, I have a TV in my boudoir) - how much better would it be to adjust the mattress versus leaning on 4 propped pillows?!

In a recent survey by Leggett & Platt Adjustable Bed Group a majority of consumers (89%) expressed a desire to transform the master bedroom into a tranquil retreat, a place to relax, read or watch TV while 69 percent said they feel a little luxury is important in their lives.

You know me and my style, I like to create an eclectic, yet sophisticated space and decided to put together a Creative Vision Board based around one of the Leggett & Platt beds. I chose one of the beds in their Designer Series, which offers a great mix of different style headboards and frames there are SO MANY options!
